This sculptural form is inspired by Cypraea lurida, a marine cowrie found in warm coastal waters of the eastern Atlantic Ocean, particularly around West Africa and nearby island regions. The shell is known for its smooth, highly polished surface and distinctive oval form, with a narrow, finely toothed opening beneath. Shaped by both biological growth and the constant influence of water, sand, and movement, it carries a sense of softness and precision at once.
